Fall plans + NEW High-Jinks! 🧶

Hey you!

I’m testing sending my email on Friday. Feedback is welcome and I’ll also compare how many people open on Friday vs. Tuesday.

As I’m cramming as much fun as I can into the last few weeks of summer, I’m looking ahead to fall and winter crafting. Here’s some of the stuff I’m thinking about:

​

  • Knit a baby blanket for the shower I’m hosting in 2 weeks. 😬
  • Publish my favorite hat pattern (I know! I said I was going to do this a while ago! 😳).
  • Crochet a funky granny square sweater to layer over fall dresses.
  • Put together something fun for you this holiday season. I have a bunch of ideas for this one- I need to narrow it down and get busy!
  • Knit a new sample of my Off the Grid throw. Not only do I need new photos for the pattern, but I also have the yarn on hand and want the blanket for myself. What am I waiting for!?!

You can peel a carrot with an oyster shucker. If you ever find yourself in an air bnb with a shucker but no peeler. 🤣🤪

Hello! How are you? I’m so excited to show you something I did in Reno! I got to go to Jimmy Beans Wool! While my husband was doing conferencey things, a friend of mine who lives there took me yarn shopping! I was so awestruck I didn’t even play this claw machine! Looking at the picture now, I’m like “why didn’t I even try?” I guess I’ll have to go back next year. With a big ol’ bag of quarters! I did manage to find some yarn!
